DR. EDDIE KRIEDEMANN
DENTIST
Dr. Eddie studied at the University of Pretoria and qualified in the year 1993 with his bachelor of dental surgery degree. He is very passionate about his career and believe there is only one treatment option and that is the best treatment option. He bought the practice in 1997 and together with his wife Carien they worked hard to build a successful practice.

He is enthusiastic about patient education on the significance of oral health and is focused on treating patients holistically & delivering an unforgettable service with excellence. Comfortable with treating all kinds of patients, be it youngsters, teenagers, & grown-ups, the anxious, etc. Gifted cooperative person who comprehends the significance of collaborative care for the best treatment results for patients. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology.
Dedicated to staying cutting-edge on the furthest down the line strategies to deliver the most elevated level of patient health care possible.

As testimony to the above, he recently successfully completed his Mastership in Dental Laser Therapy at Aachen University.
DR. D'JANE BASSON
DENTIST
After successfully matriculating from Hoërskool Noordheuwel, Dr. Basson had to decide between her running career or lifelong career. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 she received her National colours to represent South Africa in Ukraine, Zimbabwe and America respectively in the 400m hurdles. Thinking with her head and not her heart, she hang up her spikes to pursue her dental career.
Dr. DJane Basson is a graduate of the University of Pretoria where she earned her bachelor of dental surgery degree in 2019 from the school of Dentistry. After completing her community service year, she returned to Roodepoort to practice alongside her father, Dr. Kriedemann.
She continuously seeks out training and professional development opportunities that allow her to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology being used.
Dr. Basson’s mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to all patients in an environment that is safe, reassuringly pleasant and comfortable.
DR. MARNÉ KRIEDEMANN
DENTIST
Dr. Marné is the newest member of our team. She matriculated with flying colours from Hoërskool Noordheuwel as the Dux Learner and received the Vice Chancellors Discretionary Merit Award from the University of Pretoria for her outstanding achievements during her high school years.

She started her dental studies in 2017 at the University of Pretoria and successfully completed each year Cum Laude and top of her class. She graduated at the end of 2021 and received numerous awards of which the highest award were the: “Gold Medal of the South Africa Dental Association (SADA)”.
In 2022 she did her Community Service at Dr. Yusuf Dadoo Hospital in Krugersdorp and she also received the opportunity to work in the Maxillofacial Department at the University of Witwatersrand during the month of October 2022.
Currently she is doing a part-time Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Surgery through the University of Pretoria. She has a special interest in Oral Surgery and her biggest goal is to become a Maxillofacial Surgeon.

CARIEN KRIEDEMANN
ORAL HYGIENIST AND PRACTICE MANAGER
Carien qualified as an oral hygienist at the University of Pretoria in 1993. She has chosen a career in Oral Hygiene as the general health of patients is truly her passion. She firmly believes in the connection between oral & general health & therefore find prevention & treatment of oral diseases very fulfilling.
​
She is the heartbeat of the practice and their biggest asset as she will go the extra mile for each and every patient and staff member. Putting in hours of hard work she helped to build a thriving practice alongside her husband, Dr. Kriedemann.
For her, prevention is better than cure and her main focus is therefore to motivate and educate patients to have and maintain healthy teeth and gums.
She is also the practice manager and always available for any enquiries.
ANINA BESTER
ORAL HYGIENIST
Anina qualified as an oral hygienist at the University of Pretoria in 1990. With distinction she also received her diploma in oral hygiene.

She is a very caring, down to earth, easy going person who attends to her work with utmost enthusiasm. Since the practice has opened, in 1997, she has been part of Kriedemann Dentistry.
​
Her saying goes, "Improving lives, one smile at a time. Better teeth, better health because teeth are always in style. Floss like a boss because your smile deserves it."

She loves to interact with her patients and will make you feel right at home when you're sitting in the dental chair.

TINA SWANEPOEL
RECEPTIONIST
Tina grew up in Krugersdorp & currently resides in Florida, Roodepoort. The hobby she is most fond of, is camping & fishing with her family.
She is a committed, delightful, honest individual with solid relational abilities. She appreciates giving client assistance, working with individuals & can without much of a stretch provide assistance resolving conflict. She is skilful in directing patients via telephone & face to face. Lastly, she appreciates constant learning & is a cooperative person.
VICKY COETZEE
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Vicky is from the Lowveld, Tzaneen/Witriver area. She loves arts & culture, & also some outdoor activities.

She has been a devoted Dental assistant for 2 years now at Kriedemann Dentistry. She is energetic about aiding individuals & helping those in need. She is excited & always open to learn new methods & ways of doing things with the goal of improving her skills to benefit not only herself, but the people she works with as well.

XANDA VERMEULEN
STERILIZATION
Xanda grew up in Cape Town & although not part of her job description she is tech-savvy & always comes to our rescue in this regard.
​
She believes that keeping things clean is fundamental to make a good impression, create a safe and healthy environment, boost efficiency and productivity and protect surfaces from harmful elements.
She loves to surprise the practice members with a coffee every now and then to keep them up and running.
